Bucking Fastard left this review about The Bunny Hop

Former shop unit with an apex door, the bar is to the left with some bar stools, the furniture is a mix of pine farmhouse style tables, a rear woodburner in a brick fireplace with a drinking shelf to the side on the way to the garden. The first floor was not explored as the locals did stare at us,four strangers in their midst. The overloud thrash metal didn't feel too welcoming either.Cash only !
The four handpumps were drawing Litter Critters Luna's Peach Pale and Vanilla Chinchilla Porter (described by the gormless barman as a mild) ,Marsaton's Reverend James (why?) and Stancill Climax (NBSS 3.5).Marks awarded for a mix of styles but this micro had the feel of a local pub for local people and ours was a brief visit to slake a thirst. The curry house opposite was good and much more welcoming.

Friendly micro-pub between Eastwood and Heanor, and handy for Langley Mill station. Unfussy furniture and decoration in the single seating area, but there is also a small patio at the back. I found four of the six handpumps being used, with a couple of Thornbridge ales, Ashover's Centennial and Shipstones Gold Star (£3.00).

Corner pub with one large room with the bar to the left. Quite busy on Saturday afternoon mainly with locals. Decent selection of real ales which means a revisit is likely.
